ADD STRENGTH TRAINING TO YOUR LIFE...FOR THE BEST LIFE.

Age-wise, I’ve lived quite a few years and can easily identify with those of you who sometimes feel alone, unloved, and forgotten. I know how we handle adversity makes us either stronger or forces us to go down in defeat.

Once I stopped being a pleaser and stopped allowing others to control me... was the moment I began my "Strength Training." For me, Strength Training is not about machines, weights, or physical endurance. Real Strength Training is about learning to love and believe in yourself; it's about restructuring your life---reaching far beyond the limits others have placed on you---and obtaining your dreams, your goals, and your everyday existence. It’s all about believing in “you.”

Through the years, I held fast to a childhood dream----only because my fourth grade teacher believed in me. Over the years, a lifetime of experiences finally convinced me--to BELIEVE in me.

That's when I opened my heart and discovered God. It was God who directed my Strength Training and, because of him, I stopped limiting myself and stopped allowing others to limit me. God’s Power and Strength provided the training I needed to live my life. Eventually, I learned to love  all of me--- including my successes and my failures. I also learned to praise myself through good times and not-so- good times.  God taught me how to believe that each of us is worthy of love .

If you haven’t learned to believe in yourself-- it's never too late to start your strength training.  Just bow your head and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths,  smile,  and begin opening your heart.  Now your ready to start talking to God.

I think its important for you to speak out-loud, to hear your words as God hears them. You can say something like: “Dear Heavenly Father, I've tried too long to do everything on my own. Forgive me for leaving you out of my life. I need you, not just for today but for always. Please make me strong when I am weak; Strengthen me to avoid those who hurt me or continue to treat me unkindly; Help me triumph through the stressful times; And teach me to not only love myself but to love those around me who often seem unlovable.

Most importantly, put me where you want me to be and show me how to serve you best. Let me hear your reassuring voice and know I'm never alone when you're beside me. Guide me, love me, and always keep me in your constant care. Dear God, please come into my life this very day... and never leave me.”

The Bible says "And they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as Eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
