IF YOUR BODY IS OVERWEIGHT..RE-TRAIN YOUR BRAIN TO THINK THIN.

OKAY. WE ALL KNOW THAT JUST SITTING ON A WORKOUT BALL OR A STATIONARY BICYCLE WON'T HELP ANYONE LOSE WEIGHT. SO...WHY ARE YOU FAT?!?!? LOOK IN THE MIRROR THEN LOOK AT ALL THOSE NICE CLOTHES HANGING IN YOUR CLOSET--CLOTHES YOU CAN'T WEAR BECAUSE THEY NO-LONGER FIT YOUR EVER-EXPANDING BODY. WHY DO YOU WANT TO CARRY-AROUND A BUNCH OF EXCESS WEIGHT THAT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A "DUMP TRUCK WITH A HEAVY LOAD" ?!?!

CONSIDER THIS:
IN THE RECENT PAST, IT WAS SOMEWHAT OF A TRADITION THAT FAMILIES SAT AT THE 'BREAKFAST TABLE TO EAT THE FIRST MEAL OF THE DAY. THEN, EVERY MEMBER OF THE FAMILY GOT UP AND "GOT BUSY'.

THOSE WERE THE DAYS WHEN PEOPLE WERE COMMITTED TO WORK....WHETHER IT WAS SCHOOL WORK, YARD WORK, OUTSIDE WORK, OFFICE WORK, OR HOUSEWORK. BUT...OVER TIME...TRADITIONS AND PEOPLE HAVE CHANGED....AND NOT FOR THE BETTER.

TODAY... VERY FEW TRADITIONS, LFESTYLES, ATTITUDES, OR EATING HABITS EXISTS. THERE WAS A TIME WHEN PEOPLE WERE DISCIPLINED ABOUT MOST-EVERYTHING, INCLUDING THEIR WEIGHT AND THEIR APPEARANCE.

TODAY---EATING IS NO LONGER A "TRADITIONAL CEREMONY" THATS LIMITED TO THREE MEALS A DAY... OR EATING AT A SPECIFIC TABLE, AT A DETERMINED HOUR OF THE DAY, AND IN A PARTICULAR ROOM. AS A RESULT, PEOPLE TODAY EAT WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW THEY WANT, FOR AS LONG AS THEY WANT AND.. AS MUCH AS THEY WANT....AND OBVIOUSLY....MOST ARE NOW OVERWEIGHT.

IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME....THEN VISIT A LOCAL WALMART OR A MCDONALD'S OR JUST WALK AROUND A COLLEGE CAMPUS. YOU'LL SOON GET THE PICTURE. BIG, FAT,  AND UNHEALTHY HAS BECOME A WAY-OF-LIFE. FOR ME, IT IS BEYOND DISTURBING.

YET...EVEN MORE DISTURBING THAN OBESITY IS THE FACT THAT THE BAR FOR 'HIGH STANDARDS' HAS BEEN DRAMATICALLY LOWERED. UNLIKE PAST TRADITION, PEOPLE NO LONGER MAINTAIN A COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN HOW THEY LOOK, WHAT THEY WEAR, THE WAY THEY PERFORM THEIR JOBS, OR,  HOW THEY TREAT OTHERS.

WITH NO STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE, PEOPLE NOT ONLY LOOK SLOPPY AND LAZY...THEY ACT SLOPPY AND LAZY.  I DON'T BELIEVE ANYONE IS REALLY "FAT AND HAPPY".

THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE...IS YOU SO GET OFF YOUR BOTTOM AND STOP SNACKING.... STOP EATING BETWEEN MEALS! 

GET UP---GET BUSY--AND GET MOVING! LEARN THAT SWEATING IS GOOD FOR YOU! ANYONE CAN EXERCISE-- AT ANY AGE.  IT SIMPLY TAKES DISCIPLINE.  DON'T ALLOW FAT TO BE YOUR LEGACY OR YOUR EARLY DEATH.

PS: TRADITIONAL COFFINS AREN'T BUILT FOR OBESE PEOPLE. SO....IF YOU PLAN TO EAT YOURSELF TO DEATH....YOU OR SOMEONE IN YOUR FAMILY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING A LOT OF MONEY FOR A HANDMADE COFFIN TO ACCOMODATE YOUR EXCESS POUNDAGE.
THINK ABOUT THAT BEFORE YOU SHOVE MORE "FEEL GOOD" FOOD IN YOUR MOUTH.

BY THE WAY, I UNDERSTAND THE TEMPTATION TO SNACK OR INDULGE IN AN EXTRA DESSERT...OR TWO. THAT'S THE REASON WHY---EVERY MORNING--- I GET UP EARLY TO  SPEED WALK APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES. SURE, SOMETIMES I'M TEMPTED TO NIBBLE, SNACK, INDULGE MYSELF BUT...FAT SLOWS ME DONE WHEN I WANT TO MOVE FAST.

REMEMBER: NOTHING ABOUT LIVING IS EASY SO TAKE SOME TIME TO TRAIN YOURSELF.  LEARN TO NEVER GIVE UP OR GIVE IN!
