FACIAL, CHIN, AND NECK HAIR LOOK "VULGAR" ON A FEMALE.
As well-groomed women, we shave our under-arms, legs and--in some cases--other intimate areas of our bodies. But, some of us may be over-looking the most important part of our shaving requirements.
Don’t be shocked when I insist you include a small, disposable razor in your purse. That simple razor will guarantee you’ll never be caught with ugly chin hairs, cheek whiskers, upper lip strays or hair-stubble on any part of your face. One last-minute look in the car’s mirror is enough to make you panic. Too many glaring mistakes are more- noticeable in the cold and unforgiving-light-of-day.
Just one small razor will insures you won’t suffer the public embarrassment of chin whiskers or facial hair-stubble. Just grab your razor and quickly dry-shave those stubborn hairs away before making your public appearance. Sure, those pesky hairs will come back but…NOT when you shave regularly.
I shave my face every day…..a regiment I started more than forty years ago. I learned this medically-approved secret from an Atlanta Dermatologist (Dr. Brody) who put women on pedestals, like goddesses.
The simple/quick procedure of shaving our faces--every day-- removes dead skin as well as facial hair. The results are a smoother-hairless surface. As Dr. Brody says: “It’s like grooming your yard. Each stroke of the razor evens the skin’s surface while ridding it of “weeds, dead leaves, unknown objects, and unwanted trash.”
And forget the old-wives-tale about women growing a beard or moustache. Hormones, not Razors, grow hair. Shaving actually discourages….not encourages…. regrowth of facial hair. And, don’t panic. It’s a medical fact that repeated shaving DOES NOT trigger hair to grow back—thicker and quicker!
Check out “Women Who Shave their Faces” on the Internet and you’ll discover that most Models and Actresses have been shaving their faces and necks---for years. Being photographed, up-close, magnifies imperfections, including stray hairs and “peach fuzz”.
Waxing hurts, it’s messy, and expensive....while Tweezing also hurts, is tedious, and very- time-consuming. Chemicals that “melt” hair away can be dangerous, cause severe burning, and often leave your face sensitive, sore, and red. None of those procedures can replace a simple and inexpensive razor that’s ready to travel anywhere, anytime.
I buy packages of disposable razors for sensitive skin. Each morning, I lather my face with soap (I prefer Dove) and.....shave my forehead, my cheeks, around my mouth and chin, and finish with my neck...and nose! Most people have hair follicles scattered over their noses. Shaving "opens" clogged pores and "blackheads" located everywhere on your face, so don't ignore your nose when you're using that razor!
I've only finished with my daily shaving--- when every place I touch is smooth as glass. The "feel" test makes sure I didn't miss any part of my daily shaving routine.
I would never apply makeup to an unshaved face. Just like an artist begins each painting with a new brush and a fresh canvas….I wouldn’t waste time putting makeup on a less-than-smooth surface. Besides…who wants unwanted hairs “sprouting” up to ruin a makeup masterpiece?!?!
My advice to every woman of every age: DON'T HESITATE TO SHAVE THAT NASTY FACIAL HAIR and PEACH FUZZ AWAY---- STARTING TODAY.
Shine your silver! You’ll feel prettier, more romantic--- and, you’ll probably kiss better. You’ll focus on the “funny business” at-hand rather than stressing over your bristle-brush chin hair. Best of all, you won’t be afraid for someone to kiss your cheeks or touch your face.
And now-----It’s Showtime! As they say in Hollywood: “Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my Close-Up".
