IF YOU DON'T RESPECT YOURSELF--YOU WON'T RESPECT OTHERS.

WHY would anyone lower their standards and share their "plumbing problems" in public?!?!? Forgive me for discussing such a delicate subject but TODAY—I experienced a real shocker! As a writer, I have no choice but "tell it like it happened".

It was a real "first" for me.  A young shopper (probably early twenties) was standing in front of me in the Walmart Check-Out line.  I was shocked when she suddenly- began jet-propelling sounds and smells from her behind! Her disgusting actions—so loud and stinky--- were enough to GAG THE LIVING—as well as THE DEAD.  I’m convinced NOTHING is off-limits for today’s society.

We seem to be living in a shock-proof world where nothing is taboo. Here’s my assessment of today’s reality:  Just scratch---where-ever and when-ever--- it itches.   Take “it” or “them” out--in PUBLIC-- when someone wants a peek; and drop-those-drawers to display your Thong or G-String or new Tattoo-- when or where you feel like it.   No toilet paper--- No problem!   And—NEVER apologize to anyone-- for anything!

With today’s defiant attitudes—anyone can belch, fart, puke, even masturbate—when or where they want.  WHY?!?!? Because this generation believes: “It’s MY right."

THIS IS definitely THE “ME” GENERATION.   Apparently, THEY are the only ones who matter.  If someone dares to complain---today’s generation instantly reacts by--- getting in the complainer’s face-- flashes them the middle finger--and loudly-shouts: “F… Off”!!!!!

We’ve really traveled a long way and---IN MY OPINION--we've hit--rock-bottom.  Yes, we’ve arrived in HELL.  I can’t help but remember “much-better days”-----like---

“Whatever happened to the days of being proud of our manners? When did we STOP wanting others to admire our appearance or applaud our confidence, our abilities, and our accomplishments?  And when did a woman reject the idea of being an elegantly-dressed lady with class and a beautiful appearance?  Where are yesterday’s Ladies—today?!?!?!? Ladies---like the Grace Kellys and Jackie Kennedys of the world?  Where are the beautiful women who belong in the spotlight--as role models for young women-- everywhere?

When everyone with class, elegance, style, and beautiful manners has died ---- When all the fine china, sterling silver, linens,  silks, handmade embroidery, white gloves/ party manners-- have been ditched-pitched-and discarded; When the beautiful anti-bellum homes, beautiful statues, classic gardens, and elegant lifestyles are in the long-ago past; When the lovely trees, fabulous wildlife,  wide-open spaces with waterfalls, lakes, and rivers—have all been destroyed------ and----everything old, memorable, beautiful, and classic, are dead and buried-forever.....WILL ANYONE CARE?!?!?”
